Frequently Asked Questions
What is OSHA safety training?
OSHA safety training teaches workers to recognize and control the hazards on their job, following standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Courses like OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 are common requirements. Sheffield Safety delivers them with hands-on instruction and the documentation OSHA expects.
What is the difference between OSHA 10 and OSHA 30?
OSHA 10 is a 10-hour course for entry-level workers covering hazard awareness. OSHA 30 is a 30-hour course for supervisors and anyone with safety responsibility, going deeper into hazard control and management. We teach both and can build them into a full safety program.
Can you train at our jobsite?
Yes. We bring the training to your site or host it at our facility, whichever keeps your crew working. Sessions are scheduled around your production so training does not cost you a day of work.
Do you serve Illinois and Texas?
Yes. Our instructors work from Plainfield, Illinois and Houston, Texas and train crews across 10+ states.
