Lace and Mark DeLay Elementary

The Mark DeLay Elementary School added 13,348 gross square feet to accommodate art and music facilities, a serving kitchen, and a new gymnasium. The gym features an integral stage for school performances and operable corner clerestory windows for ample natural light and enhanced ventilation. The existing gymnasium was converted into special education classrooms and a computer technology lab.

Also located in Darien, Lace Elementary added 13,678 gross square feet to house art and music facilities, a computer technology lab, library, serving kitchen and a new gymnasium. This gym also has an integral stage for school performances and operable corner clerestory windows for natural light and ventilation. The existing gymnasium was converted into special education classrooms and a new administrative center near the main building entry.
